Rapidly becoming one of Ireland’s most popular entertainment acts, The Tumbling Paddies have gone from local pub gigs in County Fermanagh to selling out major venues across Ireland and beyond. Since forming in 2014, the band has continually evolved, growing their sound and fanbase—helped by the addition of Oisín on keyboards and a key partnership with manager Andrew Cox.
Their energy-packed live shows, combined with standout original songs like Pretty Girl, Night on the Town, and their chart-topping hit The Way I Am (No.1 for 10 weeks), have earned them a loyal following worldwide. From Ireland to Dubai, Germany, Spain, and beyond, The Tumbling Paddies continue to captivate audiences with one of the most exciting live experiences around.
Gareth Maguire
Lead Vocals & Tin Whistle
Gareth is the frontman and lead vocalist of the band, often the voice and personality fans connect with most. He also plays the tin whistle, which adds that traditional Irish flavour to their sound. Gareth grew up playing traditional music and has written many of the band’s original songs, including hits like The Way I Am. Before going full-time with the band he worked as a mechanic — a job he left as their touring schedule grew.
Ciaran Owens
Banjo
Ciaran’s energy and banjo playing are central to the group’s upbeat, folk-infused sound. The band’s name The Tumbling Paddies actually comes from an early car accident Ciaran was involved in on the way to a gig (luckily everyone was okay). He’s been with the group since the start and helps anchor their lively live shows. Ciaran sings a few songs each night and does backing vocals.
Lee Jones
GUITAR
Lee handles the guitar duties, providing both rhythm and melodic hooks that bridge traditional and contemporary styles in their music. He’s known for his energetic stage presence and ability to drive the band’s sound forward. Before focusing fully on music, Lee was an electrician, and he’s also been involved in Gaelic sports locally.
Martin Treacy
ACCORDIAN
Martin brings the classic accordion (sometimes also button accordion) tones that are essential to Celtic and folk music. His playing helps give the band its signature trad pop fusion — rich, melodic and deeply rooted in Irish musical traditions.

Oisín Mc Manus
KEYBOARD
Oisín plays keys and synthesiser which broadens The Tumbling Paddies’ sonic palette beyond traditional folk into pop and modern sounds. His parts help their arrangements feel fuller and more contemporary, especially in original songs.

John McCann
DRUMS
John is the drummer and percussionist, providing the rhythm and drive that powers their high-energy live shows. His playing helps blend the traditional and pop elements, keeping audiences dancing and engaged.
